CANOEING

"Our team of three was put in 70 miles up to the headwaters lake with three solo open boat canoes. We encountered water too low to paddle and were air lifted by chopper 10 miles further downstream. WE encountered good brook trout fishing between the upper lakes and also caught on 28" lake trout. Saw no wildlife other than two large otter above the large falls. Saw salmon attempting to get over the falls. Two miles of class IV V whitewater below the large falls. We competed the first decent of the Flowers River, in seven days and enjoyed the staff and lodge. We'll be back."

HIKING

"Four adventures (Glenn, Dooley, Pilgram, and Cecil) set off on the morning to hike the peak behind the lodge. After an hour and forty-five minutes we reached to the top. The trip included canoeing up the creek adjacent to the lodge, leaving the canoes to hike through dense alder and bog, and hiking the ridge to the top. The view of the river valley and adjacent mountains was beautiful. The weather was pleasant with clear skies and a brisk breeze. We recommend this trip to other adventure seekers."
