Great Action at the Flowers!

Clear sky’s at the Lodge today and water temperature at the dock is 56 F ( much cooler in center of River ). Water levels are dropping but remain Med / High. There is an abundance of Salmon being spotted in the crystal clear waters of the beautiful Flowers River. Tucker Roberts and his Dad are just back from Top Pool where Tucker had a Salmon on over 30 pounds for over ½ hour. They landed two fish 15 pounds and several grilse were hooked and lost. While on the trip back to the Lodge they stopped at Long Beach and fished where Tucker hooked and played a 25 pound Salmon! Great Salmon fishing by the father – son Team!
Mark Beson & Dean Hynes fished Red Beer Pool this am and released 3 fish….one at 10 pounds.
Lots of fish being spotted ( and hooked & released ) at Island Pool and that’s a good thing as we haven’t seen spectacular action at this location for a few years. In 2004 it was arguably one of the best Pools in the River with a TV Show being produced for TSN at Island Pool.

All guests are hooking up and report seeing migrating Salmon swimming by their respective pool ( heading up river ).
Arctic Char are in Cooks Pool next to Main Lodge…….we just seen a couple of dozen Arctic char in the pool between 2 and 4 pounds.

Latest news.............Carl Burt lands and releases a 17 pounder at Island Pool at 8:30 pm ( as per photo )
