Huge 26 pound Salmon released tonight at Top Pool!

Clear sky’s and cool temperatures at the Lodge today. Water level is medium and water clarity is excellent..
Only a couple of fishermen are actually fishing for Salmon this week with other guests fishing for Arctic Char and Brook Trout.
Two Fishermen released 5 Salmon at Top Pool on Thursday and 2 Salmon were released at Top Pool on Friday. The Beaver floatplane is leaving shortly for a fly-out for Brook Trout.

Update at 6:30pm ........We just arrived back at the Lodge from Fly-out and had an amazing day with the Brook Trout.....we released 4 dozen beautiful (spawning colored) Brookies and we fished over 300 Arctic Char at Char Lake and retained 2 Char.

10pm update........Ed, Keith & guide Doug just arrived back at main lodge from Top Pool and released a total of 6 Salmon....one 26 pounds!
They also caught 6 Arctic Char. Great fishing boys!
