Cooler temperatures.......Hot fishing!

Overcast day at the beautiful Flowers River with an outside air temperature of 15C with moderate northwest winds. The water temperature at the aircraft dock is 62F.
We have 4 guests fishing at Char Lake ( fly-out ) and 6 guests are fishing for Salmon on the River. Yesterday’s group did extremely well at Char Lake releasing over 40 Arctic Char.

5 Salmon were hooked this afternoon and two were landed and released……one was 12 pounds.
Guests report seeing lots of Salmon at Max’s Pool, Island Pool, Jones Pool and Top Pool. It was also reported by one guest that there was 40 “Salmon / Grilse” at Gonzo’s Pool yesterday!

4 guests had an absolute stunning day Char fly-fishing today…………hooking and releasing over 80 Char!
This evening Corey released two grilse and lost another at Max's Pool.
