Cool water temperatures!

A clear sky at the Lodge today and the outside air temperature is 20C with the water temperature at the aircraft dock 44F. Water levels have dropped dramatically over the past week. Lots of Large Salmon spotted in various pools. Dr. Hugh Herman ( sixth trip to the beautiful Flowers River ) and Kerry arrived last night and today they did a fly out to Burton’s Pond for trophy Brook Trout. We have some other guests arriving Sunday and will be closing our Lodge on September 16. Tomorrow we’ll be doing a fly-out to Char Lake.
