Whoppers at Max's Pool!

First sunny day in a week and light winds at the Lodge.

Dr. Gary Shintani released a real whopper at Max's Pool measuring 40 inches long and 20 inches at the girth........a Jack Salmon weighting 21 pounds!

GUESTS HAVE EXPERIENCED SOME GREAT WILD ATLANTIC SALMON FISHING THIS PAST WEEK!

Today is switch day and we have 12 guests this week at the beautiful Flowers River Lodge.

Max's Pool has an abundance of Grilse and Salmon. Today there were 5 fish landed at Max's Pool and 4 others were hooked and lost. We also seen another 10+ fish ( some huge Salmon around 20 pounds plus ) leaping.
Red Beer Pool had a 10 pounder landed and another Salmon around 18 pounds was hooked and lost.
Great action today at Island Pool were two guests landed a total of 8 grilse & Salmon.
Top Pool has 2 guests overnighting and we haven't received their report prior to writing this latest news.

Water temperature is still very cool and the water level is slowly dropping ( almost med/high ).
