Season in full swing

The season is now in full swing at Flowers River. Water levels are good and fish are here in good numbers.
We have also completed many of the projects that were slated for this season. The wader room now has a wood stove and is mostly enclosed. We have added a third bedroom to the Labrador room which is working out really well. Anglers are also reporting great sleeps on the new mattresses we bought and flew in this spring.

Work is also underway on the Top Pool platform where we are going to install a large prospector tent. The tent, stove, cots, and bear fence are already up there and when it’s all done,it will be a great place to get out of the weather, have lunch and a great snooze by the river.

Numerous fish in the twenty plus pound class have been hooked and landed and many larger fish spotted. Last week, one of our anglers hooked a fish that camp manager Terry Byrne says was in excess of and well into the thirty pound class.

That’s it for now.

Tight lines.
